Beads in the Loft is a tiny "gem" of a store. Entirely unique in its offerings of the highest quality colored gemstones of every shape and size, the store sells finished jewelry pieces, made onsite, as well as "raw" materials for deisgners and jewerly makers. Started by Jenni Freedman in 2002, who wished to create truly artisinal jewlery that would be part of the lifestyle of the modern,chic woman.
The store is true "eye candy" and that all four walls are dripping with strands and strands of gorgeous semi-precious and precious stones. Scattered amongst all of the raw (unfinished) gemtones, are one-of-a-kind finished pieces designed and created on-premise by Jenni and her staff. Because the store is also known as a custom jewelry shop, the finished pieces often act as inspiration to clients for pieces they would like to have created. There's also an extensive idea book in the store with clippings of past designs and magazine cutouts which inspire new creations or a twist on the old.
While Beads in the Loft carries and extensive line of sterling silver beads and findings, the real treasures lie in the 18-22K gold line. Jenni, who is also GIA certified, travels to abroad to create new collections. She personally sits down with goldsmiths and creates, from her very own designs, original findings for the gorgeous jewelry you can find at the store or online. This alone, ensures originality and uniqueness for the Beads in the Loft loyal following.
Jenni and all of her designers have a unique flair for fashion and design and make it their goal to have each and every client "in love" with the treasures they attain from Beads in the Loft. Quality in stones, materials, and workmanship have always been the number one goal.
